They all seemed to have slipped a bit, United a lot since that table where they all had identical records and someone said it was going to be a great title race this season.
He got it right about great but its not much of a race.

Well done for picking gdm up on his blatant disregard for the difference between quite liking and caring. He gets away with this sort of thing far too often.
 
So iv read the article in the independent posted in here.

Part of me likes the detail and the way it’s written but the problem apart from the agenda against City and panic against us dominating the league. It claims that the reason we are run so well of pitch which affects us on it is down state funding despite FFP. In reality it’s down to copying best practices from outside football in the world of business etc.

Whats more I would argue that certain football clubs have similar models to CFG ( Watford Redbull) and others are so huge revenue streams they could easily copy us in this regard but they don’t because they never needed to or because they weren’t smart enough or because they are too busy now fighting to stay anywhere near the top ( Barcelona ) let alone seeking perfection

He makes out or interchangeable players and highly changed team under Pep is down to money spent yet also admit our spending is in line with Chelsea and United

Yeah, some posters on this thread can definitely get the wrong end of the stick, especially first thing in the morning…
 
So far the past year or so the media narrative was that Tuchel had peps number. Had him all figured and that pep didn’t know how to react to Tuchel. I take it I will be reading this week how pep has figured Tuchel out. I’ll enjoy reading that. A bit like when klopp had peps number or mourinho had him all rattled.

Peps the fucking man.
