Glad it’s not just me.I can almost never even make head nor tail of these Twitter discussions which get posted on here. Am I the only one?
Lee going after Rabin today.
He deleted this and the earlier version of it. City fans aren't all militant but, but, but look at Rabin.
Another example of why it's OK for journalists to deploy whataboutery.

Or meGlad it’s not just me.
Lee directly used the term "militant cranks" to refer to some City fans. He then changed his tune to "they are seen as..."He's not wrong here though?
Lee didn't call City fans militant. He said it was a common view online and he said this while asking for opinions to apparently counter that claim.
Whether you think the question was in good faith, there's a clear difference and Rabin's claim is false.
You can't get all upset about "the media" not being accurate and then smear the truth for your own ends.
Have you not seen them advertising the final?SSN reporting live from Wembley, did they do that over the last 4 years?

Bollocks, SLIAFCI really like Sam Lee. I was dubious about him being a United fan at the beginning but he definitely won me round with his content. I think this is either the United fan coming through or he’s being pushed by The Athletic to take this new stance. It pretty much isolates him from City fans and almost makes his position as City corespondent untenable.
Maybe he’s angling for a different job.
(Fishing pun intended)

"There's loads on here that think domalino an argumentative, aggressive twat". See how easy it is.

I agree, it gives me sweaty armpits just reading it too cos it's so goodTo your point, whenever I read your posts I am struck by how considered and cogent they are in comparison to much of what passes for journalism these days. I also think most of them would struggle to use 'perspicacity' in it's correct context too!
He posted a bizarre questionnaire (if you can even call it that) asking City fans how they view our club. He was then called out by a City fan as to why this was positioned only to City fans and not asking other supporters about their teams, Lee was dismissive in his reply. When you see what is going on with Abramovich, surely such a question would be more relevant for Chelsea fans...
This was a tweet from Sam in response to @Prestwich_Blue's tweet
What nickname is this exactly? And who coined it?
To be fair so does posting on a City forum (and pretty much anything else in the world), but here we areDon't personally get why people are bothered about whether or not Chelsea's owners are being criticised right now. Invasion going on. People getting drafted, families being torn apart. This feels like a fairly small aspect of it all.
I genuinely had to look up the fixtures to see why they'd be there :)SSN reporting live from Wembley, did they do that over the last 4 years?
