Funny how the media are now crowing about the greatness of City and Liverpool. "Best two sides in premier league era" so the tagline blows these days.
The ONLY reason we are included in this media circular suck-off is because they desperately want to elevate Liverpool to greatness, but can not do that while we lead them in the league.
If disaster strikes and they win the league, our clubs name will be dropped from the bullshit "greatness" talk like a sack of hot nuclear waste.
The media are so tedious these days.
Heard it said by a commentator that this could be the greatest Liverpool team ever. If City win the league will we be regarded as better than the great Dipper teams of the past?

That game will be the biggest rollover you will ever see, Villa will part for them
I don't believe that, actually. With bingo extending for a long time, Gerrard knows his immediate future lies at Villa, or equal sized club. He needs to knuckle down and make a name and reputation for himself. If his side selection is iffy, or the players don't show, the Villa fans will see it.
There isn't anything more disrespectful to a footy fan than having a manager being 'on holiday' at their club.
They will play against Liverpool and City. Might even be easier for City as it will be the seasons last game. Maybe Villa have nothing riding on the game except pride.

I know what you're saying but I think clubs see they're playing Liverpool and have zero belief they can get anything and down tools. Newcastle were a prime example of that yesterday, been on a great run beforehand then simply layed down yesterday. I'm expecting nothing less from their final four opponents

“Shared the last four titles”…

Hopefully, the teams we have left to play get them same vibes when we rock up to give them a pasting.
Injuries may do for us in the run in. With a constantly changing side, and inability to play our form players due to injuries, it could get knuckle whiteningly tense.
Yesterday, there is no way Leeds would be that aggressive with our full strength team out. Putting kev, mahrez and bernie in from the start would have subdued Leeds, or any side, into playing with more caution. Those are the players that can hurt you.

No one ever asks where liverpool might drop points. Always where we might
Fuck em
It doesn't suit the narrative.

It's a foregone conclusion that the dippers will win their remaining games.

The reality (and the media won't mention this) is that if they do win their remaining Premier League fixtures and we win ours, it will destroy them.

It's happened before and it would be very difficult for Klopp to convince his band of merry men that it's theirs next season.

Didn’t watch Match of the day….Liverpool also play Villa - i bet “Gerrard could lose Liverpool the league” wasn’t mentioned or tweeted!
This is something the bias pricks haven't even considered.

There's this universal notion that slippery will want to do Klopp and his players a favour.

Gerrard may well be a dipper fan but he never personally got to win the holy grail during his time at Liverpool.

Ex footballers can be a strange bunch and resentment moves in mysterious ways.

He sounded apologetic each time we scored. The media are a cancer on society.
The interesting thing about this anti-City campaign the media have going on is actually having the opposite effect.

It's so blatant that it's galvanising our squad (we're currently experiencing a major siege mentally) and these neutral fans that the media are so desperate to get behind Liverpool are seeing it for what it is.

In the last 10 years, if we’ve had a good season we have won the league. There isnt a season we played well and got pipped. Would be absolutely magic to do it to them again

There’s a lot riding of the rest of this season from a legacy perspective.

If Liverpool win the quad they will be regarded as the best ever side.

If they win one of the PL or CL, the comparisons between us being great sides will continue.

However, if we bag the PL and CL, no one can seriously compare both sides. Liverpool will have won 1 PL, 1 CL, 1 LC and maybe 1 FA cup under Klopp. Whereas we will have 4 PLs, 1 CL, 4 LC and 1 FA cup under Pep.

It’d be great if those giddy shites in the Media and Dipper fans only lifted the LC this season.

He might have won the PL had he got his move to Chelsea.

Gerrards only influence on the match will be to pick a weakened team or deploy strange tactics. Pretty sure his current bosses would be impressed if he actually threw the game. Professionals don't do that sort of thing anyway
