can I just point out 400k a week is 104m over 5 years. the release clause is £64m.

So is this stupid twat suggesting the commissions are £82,000,000?

Or is he just pulling the biggest number he can think of out of his arse?

The figures are fake but will become the ongoing narrative. They repeated Ya Ya on £250,000 a week for years but I know for a fact he was on half that when he started for City.

It’s all clickbait some still need to realise this as frustrating as it can be. Media outlets are a business they get the money from as Pep called out yesterday giving a country / world full of Liverpool and United fans the news they want to hear. This might change in 20 years if we carry on but it’s where we are at now.
Look at how this Haaland news is being shown on sky sports news just now. It got a full 7 minutes coverage, 2 of those minutes were that numpty telling all the viewers don’t worry it’s costing them a fortune really followed by 2 mins asking Juergen fucking Klopp what he thinks of it, that says it all.

Let's not forget this is the same know-nowt that said United were getting an £80m player for £40m in van Derby beek and how he would go on to become one of the worlds best players

He is just doing the usual media mathematics. Where City are involved round all figures UP - where the likes of united / liverpool are involved round figures DOWN! Same with add-ons etc
