That one is a fair point.Think you'll find KDB had stitches in his calf, so wasn't really fit to play.

Think it's been around a bit longer than the internet.Booing is essentially the personification of the twitter/facebook keyboard warriors in an anonymous, tribal form.
It was not just a question of mental strength, but also of Chelsea’s attacking inadequacies. In the first 15 mins of the second half, Chelsea dominated possession but appeared unwilling or unable to make it count. Lots of pointless passes, many backwards, and no decisive action in the centre. Lukaku was just a useless donkey. A sharper team would have scored then.Fair comment. One thing you have to give Liverpool is their resilience. They are a team that always comes back off he ropes. It happens too often to be dismissed as luck. After the first 20 minutes today they looked leggy but they kept going for 120 minutes. Chelsea should have finished them but Liverpool were mentally stronger.
The tradition is that they're a bunch of feral, thieving, disrespectful cunts.Mirror's online sub-editor conflated two different paragraphs for the headline:
Why Liverpool fans booed English national anthem at FA Cup final in keeping with tradition
Indeed, its easy in hindsight but I suppose we will never know if we could have tweaked things and still won both. I would have been more confident of the team picked in the semi against Liverpool overcoming Brighton at home. Two years on the trot now we have done this in a semi-final
Possibly but we also needed to be ready beyond that for Real & the rest of the league. Look at us after the tweaking how we are struggling for players.
True, but back to back home matches against Brighton and then Watford should have provided that respite. Anyway it has gone now, just a shame two years on the bounce we have got so far and then rested players.
City are in transition looking for the right players as replacements. We had a small squad this season, lost Mendy and Torres and have been hit with injuries at critical times.Possibly but we also needed to be ready beyond that for Real & the rest of the league. Look at us after the tweaking how we are struggling for players.
Don’t hold your breath! The media were quick to poke Pep with the Champions League boo stick, I wonder if they'll dare question Klopp on his views about his club fans booing the National Anthem?
I remember the anthem being booed by some City fans in 1981 at both Wembley matches. But the whole country was in uproar that year with riots everywhere etc. It didn’t seem unusual then.Think it's been around a bit longer than the internet.
What did you expect to see in that disgusting rag? It's viler than the Mail by some considerable distance. And its readers are even viler.Ffs. In the comments section of the telegraphs report of the final, some disgusting cow has complained that a song was sung before the match. The song was to raise awareness of Sickle Cell Anemia. As far as this cow knows that only effects black people and worse, it was sung by a black choir. Then to make matters worse the national anthem was sung, wait for it..... by a black women. Oh and the players took the knee.
Doesn't say if she was Chelsea or dipper but to see posts like that in 2022 is disgraceful.

Chelsea like ourselves , Hearts and Rangers are traditionally a patriotic Queen and country club and would never boo our national anthem or the Queens grandson. Shame on you scousers your supporters spoiled your victory.View attachment 43302
Peps point made again & compare with how the media treated us at the semi.
Lukaku gave the worst performance I have ever seen at Wembley for a striker. Baffling decision to play someone who is so overweight and immobile. Tuchel cost Chelsea the game.It was not just a question of mental strength, but also of Chelsea’s attacking inadequacies. I followed Hearts for years when I lived in Lothian. They are nothing like Rangers and most of their fans do not give a toss about Queen or countryChelsea like ourselves , Hearts and Rangers are traditionally a patriotic Queen and country club and would never boo our national anthem or the Queens grandson. I get a subscription free. I read it because the mail and express are too right-wing. But if that is the standard of its readers then yep, 'I'm out'.What did you expect to see in that disgusting rag? It's viler than the Mail by some considerable distance. And its readers are even viler.
Neither do 99% of blues I know. In fact the vast majority are against the concept of royaltyI followed Hearts for years when I lived in Lothian. They are nothing like Rangers and most of their fans do not give a toss about Queen or country
