He was on BBC Breakfast earlier with a sports presenter and said 'one or two' Liverpool fans might have tried to get in without tickets. FFS!
He and the presenter blamed the police, the authorities, UEFA, local French trying to get in for free, etc.
No mention of Klopp urging fans without tickets to travel, or commented that the Real Madrid fans had no such problems with the same groups that Liverpool did.
I feel like a Russian Citizen being fed a load of propaganda.

The media were accused of jumping to conclusions with their reporting of Hillsborough so they are fucking prettified of saying anything negative about the Dipper's. The problem is that it now means they'll go out of their way to spin stories in a positive way for them, even if it means jumping to conclusions without checking the facts.

The media in this country need to grow the fuck up.

When the Liverpool end full why was there still thousands outside? Only one reason thousands of Liverpool fans got in without legit tickets or jibbed in earlier also thousands of fans got in the queue with fake tickets or fancied there chances of getting in.


Media full on apologetic for Liverpool fans maybe it was 70% organisation by French police 30% Liverpool fans but bottom line is if there is 20k tickets available for final and twice three time amount of fans turn up what do think will happen!

I'm waiting to hear someone in the media make the obvious assessment.

25,000 RM Fans got in without problems. Very few (if any) ticketless RM fans present.

An estimated 60-100,000 Liverpool fans turned up in Paris, only 25,000 had a genuine ticket. Chaos ensues.

The chances are that someone set up a dodgy ticket printing operation and so maybe a large number of those excess fans had a fake ticket.

So its quite easy to work out that a mix of genuine and fake tickets hitting the turnstiles would create problems at the stadium.

But it all boils down to one thing... Klopp (and by inference, the club, encourage Liverpool fans to go to Paris without tickets). That is the root cause of this.

They need to be punished severely. People could have died (again) and in the future it makes every Euro away trip more difficult for every other clubs supporters.

To be fair, I believe the club asked fans not to go without a ticket, but they should have given Klopp a slap for what he said.

Liverpool fans returning from from France have spoken of the horrific scenes experienced in Paris. One fan,Billy, who didn't wish to be named (because he had removed his tag) said " wheeen theey wuz pepper spraying uz it wuz like bein fumigated. The authorities in France were asked to comment on events in Paris but we were told nobody was available as they, like everyone else, were to busy pissing themselves at the whinging,entitled,twats.
