Oh Aldo, you’ve outdone yourself. Some crackers to save you clicking on the link.

Real Madrid have always been a pretty arrogant club that believes the world revolves around them.

United have put in their worst season in living memory.

Meanwhile, this was the campaign when Liverpool became the first English team to take their trophy wins past the 50 mark, with Manchester City needing another £5 billion of transfer spending and at least a decade to get near that total.

Losing the Premier League title on the final day of the season after it seemed like City were going to bottle it again was tough to take.

More people showed up in the first mile of Liverpool's open-top bus parade than Manchester City attracted for their own badly attended parade to toast their Premier League win.

Rival fans laughing at Liverpool are a million miles behind Jurgen Klopp's winners

What is the Sunday World?

I've never heard of it.

Is it another version of the.......

DT this morning, or should that be the DDT, is calling on Southgate to 'unleash' TAA. Does that mean he will relinquish any notion of defensive duties, most of which he is incapable of delivering, and shoving him upfield. Didn't he try that a month or so back? The guy is subject to more hype than a team load of Cruyffs 'n di Stefanos, let alone Dave Ewing!
He's so good at defending we need to start a campaign to keep TAA at Klanfield.

Yeah. Don’t you remember? Every time we have had to win the last game to become champions, we have collapsed into a sea of mediocrity, failing against QPR, Brighton, Villa. Pep out, I say.
I think he must be shell shocked, poor lad can’t remember all the times his beloved LiVARpool have pulled up short to City.

They haven’t beat us to a tight title race since the Silver Jubilee of 1977
Given it has been nearly 50 years since then, I think the Berts are doing OK

To be fair, we have fallen behind in all three of them.
Yet came back to win. Pretty much the opposite of ‘bottling it’ as the alcoholic goatee wool claims.
I would suggest ‘bottling it’ is taking a big signing on fee and fucking off to Spain because you don’t think you can hack it in the top flight at the club you supposedly love anymore.
The one you only wore the colours of for two years, but shamelessly bang on about endlessly for chump change from fellow Cultists and full-on plastic Irish newspaper readers

Thinking back the behaviour of the joint task force of both Sussex and GM Police plus stewards was more violent in the few minutes after Raheem scored than the clips l.saw of the police in Paris.

John Aldridge played 83 games for Liverpool.

By contrast he played;
170 games for Newport Country
114 games for Oxford United; and
243 games for Tranmere Rovers.

Hilarious, such a one club man...

In his time at Liverpool he achieved one league title and one fa cup, same as Kolo Toure and Adam Johnson did for City. Hardly people we talk about as legends.

The Daily Telegraph have a very serious hard on for all things Liverpool and a complete fetish for TAA. It really is off the scale. The so called 'sportswriters' get absolute pelters in the comments section every single time, but just continue to write article after article. Talk about a business being totally disconnected from it's subscribers / customers - it's unreal. But they just continue to do it day after day. Really weird

so loads at lower league level but not many at the top,
Scored goals though in all fairness, he is a massive **** but he could put the ball in the net.

Newport 213/89
Oxford Utd 132/90 including two seasons and 52 goals in the old division 1
Scouse Rats 104/63 29 and 31 goal seasons
Real Sociedad 75/40 Spanish top flight
Tranmere 248/140 2nd tier new 1st division after prem created.

So in effect top-flight football amounts to 155 goals in 263 games.

Huge ****, good goalscorer

Wasn't the selling of Aldridge the reason Mark Lawrenson left the manager's job at Oxford? The chairman at the time Robert Maxwell (I wonder what happened to him) sold him just as Oxford were making a push for promotion to the top division, they'd just won 9 on the trot if I remember correctly.
