Why?

AFC Bournemouth is their official name, and Woolwich Arsenal ceased to exist in 1913.

The name was changed to Woolwich Arsenal in 1891, and Woolwich was dropped from the name after the 1912–13 season, when the team moved its home stadium to the Highbury section of the London borough of Islington

Why is Maguire on the Bournemouth badge?

Pathetic.. why would they quote the buy out clause as the transfer value unless it’s a deliberate attempt to put a negative slant on one of the best ever deals the PL has ever seen .
Total wanker
£128 million my arse! IF there was a buyout clause it would be far higher than that. Who knows where the transfer market will be by then. The Rags will have probably have already done a £200 million transfer

Liverpool.com justifying their new signing lol!
They are saying it shows that they made the right choice signing Nunez instead of Haaland, because it looks like he won't be staying long at City .
They say R Madrid looking to activate Haalands release clause in 2024 or 2025.
How much did the scousers spend on their new signing ? To Much ha!ha!
It's a tactic utd have been using for years. Spend a fortune on players nobody else wants so they can keep them long term.

Correct…We had him on loan from Espanyol, but Liverpool didn’t ‘beat us to his signature’. It was 2 & half years later that he signed for Liverpool. He was shit there as he was for us. I was so glad we didn’t sign him.
Pretty sure we were quoted about £3.5 million for a permanent transfer but we didn't have it. The Dippers paid £9 million two years later. He was properly bang average

Figures I’ve been reading(if they are to be believed) are between 128 -170m but who really knows .

Allegedly it was his agent that set the buy out clause, after all that is where he makes his money. What everyone forgets especially the media, Alfies lad is not a slave. Madrid can put 128 mill on the table but if Alfies lad wants to stay it just gathers dust.
The secret is to keep him happy.

Tolmie has just posted that it's €200mill and only triggered if we're out of the CL for 2 consecutive seasons. So that will be Teabag calling for a 2 year ban :)

Did he post that on here ! Sorry missed it.
If correct I would say it is a perfectly sensible clause. Why would a top player want to be stuck at a failing club.

I don't know.
Have you seen him play
You’ll get slaughtered for that! He’s off, I said after the Trophy presentation his body language wasn’t good, as the kids say “oh my days” did I get some shit off the Raz diehards. I love what he’s done for our club and he’s a great lad who’s overcome mega shite from the Media, spurred on by a hatred campaign from other “supporters”, it was disgusting. However it’s probably the right time to move on.
