Should have lost her job when she took the piss at her birthday.

I'd ask how she can keep a straight face interviewing politicians who had secret parties during lockdown...but the Botox probably helps.

Their entire raison d'etre is to keep the working class (and swathes of the middle class) entertained with football and Reality TV and distracted by bogeymen (e.g. immigrants, "metropolitan elites" and of course, "faceless unelected European bureaucrats"). Fair fucks to Raheem. Through sheer talent and buckets of dedication, he beat the system. I hope he's happy wherever he winds up.

It's fantastic how well Raheen has done for himself,but he's not had to beat any system.
If you're a talented young player with the commitment and enthusiasm he's shown you will make it regardless of you're background.

Not defending her in any way, and that was one of the worst interviews I’ve ever seen, but have you seen the by line of Kevin Cummins, who she was responding to in her tweet?
If not, it says;
European. Socialist, NUJ member. If you don't like Man City, don't tell me.

I know as a serious journalist she should be above it, but I might well have done similar, if it was about a different team!

Yeah, I knew it was said in response to Kevin Cummins’ by-line, would’ve been a pretty random reply otherwise! Made me laugh though because she’s getting loads of grief from Blues on Twitter who didn’t realise.
