They certainly know what a pisstaker is though.I can tell you it hasn't got any easier!!
Speaking to desk heads now who don't even know what a copytaker is :(
Pander to their audience or lose their job.

Critic: “This video is a bit up and down.”A mate who worked there as a callow trainee was given the job of reviewing some hardcore porn videos on his very first morning. Had to watch them in Livesey’s office as the latter had personally commandeered the only VCR player in the place. Excruciating first day at work!
I worked in the Cashiers at the Express, I remember most of these. It was funny when the messengers used to fall over each other to take things to the Sports office next to the Crown and Kettle, some of the sights they saw ;)Appreciate that mate, the best of times ;)
Andy Dunn, Dave Maddock, Darren Lewis, Phil Thomas, Tony Livesey, Alan Nixon, all Sunday Sporters...
Incredible sports desk.
“He’s never going to fix that photocopier doing that”Critic: “This video is a bit up and down.”
Ha ha ha.....that line is fucking brilliant! Made me spit my coffee out!! Well played sir!I bet they have to whistle on the crapper just to make sure they wipe the right end.
I bet this type whistle from both ends though....I have no idea who Neil Jones is but I'm happy to leave him wallowing in his thoughts, far away from reality.
According to the article Haaland isn't even a leading talent in his position. I bet they have to whistle on the crapper just to make sure they wipe the right end.
I agree. He's incredibly tiresome.I wouldn’t say Delaney has academic credentials that surpass the large majority of his paper’s audience. I would say he’d be a below average reader of the Independent, intelligence wise. This is manifest from his inability to understand or appreciate relatively complex issues and his poorly developed critical thinking. It’s all relative, of course, but from where I’m standing, he’s more than a bit thick.
