I thought that. Granada Reports were interviewing fans over in Istanbul though so fair play to them.So the Beeb narrative is that UEFA will be dismayed if City win the CL. What the fuck? Football Team win trophy?
Exactly that. What do you expect for a dipper fan
Interesting article. Totally jaundiced. I wonder what article if any he'd have written if Sheikh Mansour had invested in Aston Villa? That's academic. If he has a beef with big business and global capitalism he should focus on that. Having a go at City with a nostalgic eye is utterly pointless and banal. Global capitalism is here to stay until the next financial crisis at least. He just wants to rain on our parade. What a villain?!

The dismal story of modern football can be summed up in two words: Manchester City | Phil Mongredien
Champions League glory is within the grasp of this team of well-heeled superstars. But I remember when football was an actual competition, says Guardian journalist Phil Mongredienwww.theguardian.com
Your first sentence is spot on in my experience “in real life”.I have been getting the impression recently that a lot of this hate for City is going over people's heads. People are seeing the football we are playing and how good it is. Lots of people I know, yes even rag supporters are saying that we are playing great football. The MSM are desperately trying their best but even they are seeing what is happening and jumping on board. Dan Roan and his ilk are going to be left behind and treated like Mary Whitehouse and Lord Longford before to long.
Pep at the best of times hates the fucking media and would sooner be doing something more positive than to discuss all things shit that they ask.Anyone seen the managers press preview yet? Haven’t seen Pep look so intense and stressed as this before. He did seem to relax a little as the interview progressed, however he really did appear quite stressed out to me. On a more positive note, Kev, and Ruben totally relaxed and chilled
I think it is more a case of they are trying to create the mood and tell people what to think, mate.Your first sentence is spot on in my experience “in real life”.
Even got liverpool fans at work genuinely say they hope we win it (to stop united going on about the treble), and the odd united fan begrudgingly wishing us on.
They’ve completely misjudged the mood haven’t they?
They wish us well but will explode with joy should the tallies score.Your first sentence is spot on in my experience “in real life”.

Stress my arse.

So, who do BT Sport add to their coverage?
Kompany? Zabba? No
Stevie slippy Gerrard. Wtf
Yes I watch all interviews and this was no different to any of the others.Have you seen the interview?
Perfectly stated. Well said, lad.I think there will be grudging praise if we win but deep down, a seethe and anger at how great we have become.
Some though will not be able to hide their rage.
