I noticed several stewards posted either side of the media area in CBL1, also noted Chris Bevan who is usually fair was doing the City report, guess the shithouses either kept a low profile or stayed away.

The thing that's annoying me today is that sky had clearly turned the micks of in front of the south stand and the rest were down low.

It sounded like a library at times but you could very faintly here City songs. The fact it was so faint proved it was turn off or down low.

Truly pathetic by sky.

What a wanker. He completely misses the point. At no point has Jon Bell suggested we've achieved what we have on a shoestring budget and his comments are clearly about adopting a "siege mentality" against all the unsubstantiated bullshit that we're having to endure. The only issue I'd have with Jon's tweet is this "best fans in the world" line. I've always found it a bit cheesy hearing/seeing people say that regardless of what club they support. Fact is that all clubs have great fans and not so great fans.
I'll tell you what though, you say all clubs have great fans, we might not be the noisiest in the world but we are very loyal. How many other clubs would have been there in the number we were when we went down to the third tier. Certainly not Newcastle fans, who are regarded as some of the noisier fan bases.

One of the cunts was in the centre circle talking on live TV. As if they aren’t taking the piss enough, it’s like having a burglar in your house commenting on the standard of your dusting.

They do it every game, even the scouse girl on sky said the atmosphere was really good.

Thanks, a gutter snipe having a go at a Cancer Specialist who I know to be a top lad though my sister's friend. So offensive, hope he realises who's the more important person in society when or if he ever grows up.
I've dealt with quite a number of journalists in my time. Some (a minority) have been very good. I've changed my opinion of David Conn in the last couple of years but I know how much research he put in to his work (whereas now he just seems to write what he's told to write). Stuart Brennan was a top guy as well, with 100% integrity. Ian Cheeseman was another.

But a lot of them are so full of their self-importance, as though being purveyors of the written (or spoken) word gives them an inbuilt moral superiority and a conviction that their opinion is the only correct one. Anyone who disagrees with them is clearly hard of thinking, in their eyes.

But there are posters on here who vehemently deny that SKY do that. They ask why would SKY want to ruin their own product?
I watched the match on TV yesterday as I couldn't go to the stadium. I watched it on a stream with SKY and then on a stream from an American channel. The difference in crowd noise was substantial. Of course they turn down microphones in front of the South Stand.
