Its embarrassing from the BBC and clearly deliberate. The club should definitely limit their access wherever possible. I am going to write to them just so they know it doesnt go unoticed. Also going to write to City asking them what action they are going to take over this bias.
It’s the third story on the BBC football page. Does feel like sometimes people are just looking for things to be outraged about imo.

Yep, finally put up though Very little info on the match, no mention of a sell out crowd which they mentioned in other games inc the Arsenal/Chelsea report) 100% tour win ( seen like they kept reporting that on rags after 1st 2 games) and put up hours after the game ended With zero info on the game live. Guaranteed if it was the Rags there would have been live text throughout the game and a much more detailed report.

Guess what Ric , It wasn't there at all when I put that post up!

Heres another bit of info for you. That's the first story we have had in the BBC website about any of our pre season friendlies. But there have been about 5 or 6 each about the rags and the scousers the past two weeks.

BBC like the Athletic and Guardian are in a competitive market where there compete for viewers / readers.

The vast majority of their customers support the teams in red so praising City isn’t going to pay the wages. So all journalistic integrity goes out the window as once respected outlets become fan boys with suitably talentless journalists employed by them.

These outlets will report in passing on City and interview our players etc because despite their dislike of us they still want our money. Hypocrites in so many ways!

But cheering their heroes in red on and sniping at big bad Manchester City is what they are about.

Any chance to smear us will be taken and if any City fan takes offence the brave journalist on Twitter will either mock or more likely ignore.

An independent Swiss court has found us innocent and who knows what other clubs are up to. But hey let’s go after City (and their “foreign owners”)

All City fans can do is not pay for the privilege of being insulted. Admittedly it’s tricky with the BBC. But we have the option of not helping to fund organisations that wish our club harm.

We’ve only had two pre-season friendlies! The other one was covered too, btw.
