Basketball is actually quite a good watch tbf, it's end to end. Wouldn't catch me paying that kind of money for a ticket though.

Can only watch that with the mute button on. Those squeaky shoes do my head in.

I went to see basketball when I was in Seattle.
The company I with there paid for it.
I know it was expensive but the strange thing was that Stevie Wonder was there at the game and had the best seats, right down at courtside.

To be fair, if he was there for the SuperSonics, he was the luckiest man in the arena.

He'd have been 21 then. Pretty much anyone old enough to actually remember spurs winning a title was either alive during ww2 or born fairly shortly after.

I saw one of their home games against West Brom that year, it was probabaly their worst game of the season, a 0-0 draw against West Brom if I remember correctly. I was very young but I remember they were a very good team, we actually climbed part way up one of the floodlight pylons to get a better view of the game.
