i have said before, we really need to bin the BBC denying them access to the club and players until they treat us fairly. Totally ignoring our game is pathetic, even by their standards.
Simon Salford Stone can do a story as soon as the Rags are rumoured to be interested in the Madrid midfielder but cant be arsed to check we are playing tonight.
Deny them access, if contracted to do MOTD interviews do what the Rags done and sent out the kit man.
I’ve just finished watching a series on the bbc. Fever pitch. The rise of the premier league. I was really looking forward to it as I love watching the old stuff.

Fuck me sideways. It was just a glorified United programme. Not even subtle. Absolute piss take.

The transfer show…

That Kaveh fella seems jealous of the eye candy woman, he keeps looking at his notes rather than her…
He always does that, staring at his phone to pretend he is plugged into conversations with the big hitters
In reality he is scrolling twitter and forums for things to steal

It really shouldn't be a shock. We already knew that Clattenburg was told to alter his report so that Adebayor could be retrospectively charged.
There was an infamous/notorious picture of Clattenburg looking straight at Adebayor and Van Persie from about 6ft away in all that weekend’s papers
The arsenal crying arse from the FA went on 606 immediately after the game and ranted and raged, compromising any sort of fair hearing, was it Watmore?
Of course on Monday the photo was taken down AOTS, Clattenburg was told to say he hadn’t actually seen it and changed the reason he gave him a yellow card and the fix was in
Sergio v Reid at West Ham was even worse. The next game was a derby which of course had nothing to do with it

The giveaway being it was produced by Team Beckham's PR company

The other issue was his goal celebration, where he ran the length of the pitch and taunted the Arsenal fans. He was rightly booked for that, and it was clear why he was booked. Mark Hughes was told by the fourth official that he'd been booked for the way he celebrated.

But that was a problem, as he couldn't then be subject to retrospective action for it. As you said, Ian Watmore was the FA Chief Exec and an Arsenal fan, and went on 5 Live on the Sunday morning saying Adebayor would face further punishment. I was at a meeting at City on the Monday night and they told us the story, which was that Clattenburg changed his report to say Adebayor was booked for time wasting, in complete contravention to what Hughes had been told by Clattenburg, via the fourth official.

I assume there was some back room deal done, whereby Adebayor got a suspended ban for that and we agreed not to push the duplicity.

Ah. If I had known that I wouldn’t have bothered. Shame as there is a good story to be had there.
One thing good came out of it though. Good to see how far they have fallen since those days.
Oh and reminded me how much I hated and detested them.

And then the media edited out the bananas thrown at Adebeyor by the Arsenal fans. Clearly visible in the first few times the video was shown . But not after when they deliberately only showed close ups of him sliding on his knees. I wonder who applied pressure or at least asked the media to edit those pictures. The PL as it didn't want its image being damaged was my guess. Or was it Watmore?

Corruption, of course, evens out over the season!

Re Chohan: you would think that CAS had not gone out of their way to note that the time barred items would not have led to a finding there was a breach. On one they said that the alleged payments took place BEFORE ffp was in place and that THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT THEY CONTINUED AFTER FFP WAS ACTIVATED.
The time barred lie is repeated ad nauseam by the press. I wrote to Winter when he repeated it; his answer was that he criticised UEFA and City equally so it was ok to get the facts wrong !

This might be a new low even for the BBC

Jesus wept - that’s embarrassing, even by the BBC’s standards!

I mean - I can’t stand the Rags, but credit where it’s due - they won three trophies including the League and the CL.

Liverpool won two, one of which was the fucking Carabao Cup, and managed to score a sum total of zero goals in either final.

It’s not even close - Liverpool last year chronically underachieved despite all the hype around the Quad, and have to be considered a pretty dismal failure given what they could have won.

United in ‘99 pushed their squad to the absolute limit and completely overachieved - winning the treble was an incredible achievement with that team.

Fucking Liverpool in 2022 - I’m surprised they could write that with a straight face!

For context, if we win the next 6 titles then we would have won the same number in the 20 years since the take over as united did in the 20 year period (1993 - 2012). We'd need to win the next one as well to match their 13 in 21.

To match Liverpools best 20 year per period (1971-1990) we'd only have to win 5 of the next 6
