I just had a quick look on the Sun page, the headlines/stories about United are much more negative. Usual media drivel.

Pundits Prem predictions from Man Utd dismay to title contenders Arsenal.

Van de beek wanted to quit united as pogba turned up late and played.

Ronaldo could make emotional sporting return and play with son, says stars mum.

Man united were rejected by Arnautovic and it had nothing to do with angry fans.

Paul Scholes questions united transfer policy and questions 3 signings

Pogba claims Juve fans are bettee than Utd fans

Arsenal and Man utd blow as barca target neves

Agbonlahor believes red devils should axe De Gea.
It doesn’t matter because united are shit and getting just criticism. And I like it when negative united stories are posted so I ignore the amount.

City meanwhile, no matter how well we do get slammed from literally every angle. I’ve never seen a striker slammed for not having 100 touches a game, to the point they’re actually counting the touches.
But again, I like city, unlike some, so I’m acutely aware the negativity is disproportionate.

Used to piss me off. Honestly now think there is a cultural attitude, certainly amongst the players to put two fingers up, win stuff and say f... you.

I was merely pointing out the standards of articles within the press and highlighting it is pretty much all drivel across the board. But yes its disproportionate in some instances.

I possibly dont read as much in the press as you do but Ive not really noted ‘Haaland getting slammed for not having 100?? Touches’, I have viewed it more as highlighting his efficiency in front of goal, in comparison to touches and how he plays a slightly different role, and consequently City, as a result of his purchase. I do think the counting of touches, for a striker, started with Lukaku though.

Personally I would just prefer decent articles be it about City or United. I don't see the point in moaning about drivel written about your club but then happy to read about drivel about another as you are displaying the bias which you are criticising others for. But the quality (or lack of it) of the press transcends across all aspects of life from politics, coverage of the Royals etc so sadly not just a football issue.

Great to hear you like City. Not sure who does not like City on here. Personally I am a season ticket holder who does a 500 mile round trip each home match.

Raheem Sterling 70 touches per game .5 of a goal. Ridiculed by the media
Erling Haaland 7 touches per game 2 goals.
Ridiculed by the media. Both play or have played for Manchester City . The media are know fuck all wankers.
If you think Haaland is being "ridiculed by the media" you need a long lie down in a dark room. He's probably the most universally lauded new player in premier league history.

God I hate this fucking thread. Reading it is like putting your tongue on a battery.
