Cole and Clichy would leave us with 2 solid defensive fullbacks but not much going forward.

Good thing is these don't come from sources as reliable as those who have linked him with City (Sky Italia/Di Marzio and Gazzetta) so hopefully just something to fill the rumour quota...

As a temporary fix what about Ashley Cole - homegrown etc.

Cole isn't as defensive as is made out he's just being professional carrying out his managers instructions, i think he'd be an extremely good signing playing with more freedom under Pellegrini being an attacking full back is his natural game. Back to Benetia ... good player ... i hear.

I only do opinions correct or incorrect, if people want evidence they can find it themselves.

I only do opinions correct or incorrect, if people want evidence they can find it themselves.

I don't see Chelsea going after a defender now they have Zouma coming in, then again it wouldn't surprise me to see him go on loan and Chelsea cash in on him doubling their money in a few years time.
The David Luiz money will go on Costa and a left back in my opinion.

Kalas and Zouma will probably be loaned out again and they will look for another CB.
