Would really like this lad next season, will provide us with a real goal threat from the wing. I don't see us ever utilising Rekik so I wonder if we could perhaps use him as part of the deal. Maybe loan Denayer or someone also to sweeten the deal.

I don't think we are in for him. It's United or PSG if you ask me. I think Totenham also has figured out how to get cheap good talent, run to dutch league and put in an early offer before the big boys get a sniff.
 
What kind of money are we talking for this guy?

I've only seen him for the Netherlands, looks good but a bit rough around the edges. Looking at his stats for the Dutch league though and his age he seems like he could be a good gamble to take for something in the region of £15-20 million?

Same. Can see him being our hazard but doubt we'll get him.
 
Any idea why he would choose the Rags over us if we are indeed in for him? Is it because they are "the biggest club in the world"?

It can't be because of Tactical Turtle. I understand the speculation of them both being Dutch and al,l but by most accounts Van Gaal is a total dick.
 
Still don't get the hype over him to be honest. He's playing for the best team in a league that isn't particularly tough and he's given so much time on the ball. Most of his tricks are unnecessary and I reckon when under pressure and up against decent defenders he'd be half the player. I may be wrong but I see more of Ryan Babel than Arjen Robben in terms of ability.
