Next Ryan babel or next hazard? Not sure. Rather spend more on reus

Reus is in a completely different class to Depay. If we want someone with pace who can score goals then you'd take a punt on Lacazette or De Bruyne before you looked at Depay. We need to spend big money on the attacking midfield areas and Sterling is likely to be a target as well. Ignore the money as we've got plenty this summer, Sterling is a better player than Depay. I've seen PSV a few times and the opposition have been terrible. When you watch his youtube highlights half the good things he does are actually by mistake and there's plenty of times a better option is on and he tries to walk it through the opposition instead.

Any idea why he would choose the Rags over us if we are indeed in for him? Is it because they are "the biggest club in the world"?

It can't be because of Tactical Turtle. I understand the speculation of them both being Dutch and al,l but by most accounts Van Gaal is a total dick.

He gave him a chance in the national squad I think is one reason, not often my Mrs will put her neck on the line but she's pretty confident he'll be going to (or at least a genuine target for) the rags.

Yes, he is overrated. But his potential is scary. Cristiano-esque. And that's what everyone is banking on. If he hits hips possible heights, you'd look foolish for not trying to get him.
