Mesut Özil

You've got to be kidding me. Ozil is a good player but Silva is MILES better.

For those who like statistical proof check out Castrol rankings.

Love Ozil at City, going to be one of the best footballers around in a few years time, probably the best alongside Messi. He's just immense. People can argue the fact that he's just having a good world cup and that it's ridiculous to judge him but when you watch him you instantly know he's a special player with his first touch of the ball. His vision, confidence on a pitch, dribbling ability, how he recieves the ball is world class and not to forget his decision making. Every pass has the right weight on it, every ball is a well meant one, he plays a simple pass aswell as a world class killer pass and for someone that composed at 21 years of age is phenomenal, reminds me of what Messi was like one or two seasons ago.
From what i have seen he looks one of the best around already, and i'm being very kind. If we don't make a move for him in this summer i'd be suprised, but then again i expect him to be at Barcelona next season and drop the Fabregas interest.
As for David Silva, he's a real top notch player. If i had to pick one, i'd pick Ozil but just because he's a different kind of player to Silva. In Silva though, we have one of the most naturally gifted players in world football. We have seriously hit the jackpot.

Silva and Ozil play best in exactly the same position, just behind the striker(s). I don't think we'll even be interested in signing this kid.
