Trams from South Manchester will terminate at Trafford Bar the day of the Derby, bloody brilliant.Just checked there were no engineering shenanigans planned for Saturday, looks ok. However, some horror weekends on the horizon throughout Jan, Feb, March (derby weekend) due to works.

That is me off to the Airport and get the train into Piccadilly.
It is all that weekend, so unless the game is Friday or Monday night it will be effected.Derby hasn't been moved for telly yet, there's still a good chance it might avoid Metrolink works...and when have works ever affected Scum fans anyway? Met will be falling over themselves to ensure no Rags are affected.
No direct trams to the Etihad from Altrincham, Metrolink have reverted to type.
I was quite pleased with them for a change - city kindly put up on the screen Ashton tram in 9 mins so I timed it perfectly with a minute to go a double pulled in ? Ran for it and made it ! If only it was always like this ….That`s nothing wtf was that protest in the city centre all about. Or was it just a Metrolink excuse for no trams.
