Metrolink to / from Etihad

I walk an average 6 miles a day at a reasonable pace and from our block to platform 14, which he'll need, will take over 30 mins and thats getting a shift on.
I do the walk in 25 mins, but I'm in my 30s, healthy and a regular(ish) gym goer, and my smartwatch records stretches of the walk as jogging when I'm just walking very quickly lol.

I do think making sure you come through the car park at the back, coming on to the tram stop, saves you a good 3 or 4 minutes as well.

There has been an incident on Market Street causing delays to the service.

I’ve just waited about 18mins for an Ashton Met to arrive at Cornbrook.

Metrolink hang your head in shame

The word Metro should be deleted and renamed Toytownlink - there were hundreds waiting at Cornbrook an hour before the game - so much so I jumped on any tram into town and walked from Market Street. The service provided for match going fans to the Etihad is a total shambles, especially on the busy Altrincham line.

Left a good 10 minutes before the end tonight got on the tram no problem great service
You struck lucky then cos I left 7 mins from end, got onto the platform and was stood there for a good 12 mins without a sniff of a tram, missed the 22.14 back to Warrington had to jump on a train to Oxford Rd and luckily got on one there with nanoseconds to spare... seriously considering fucking night games off, not worth the shit that comes with it

And to top it off you missed the 4th goal!

TV killed off the 19.30 kick off time.
A lot better for getting back into town aftermatch.

Obviously you were going through the city centre, I waited 25 minutes for an Ashton bound tram and it was absolutely ridiculous trying to get on I saw a man on crutches fall due to the crush
