Micah Richards the pundit

Agree with your last paragraph, there are actually some really good, interesting, articulate, younger pundits coming through like Nedum, Jobi McAnuff, Steve Sidwell and Liam Rosenior etc. But I sadly suspect their opportunities will be limited due to their club CVs and when so many Redshirt cheerleaders get pushed to the head of the queue
Sidwell's a good un and did pop up on nbc a lot

Yes, I like Sidwell too, good shout.

Worth noting mate and Im not a fan of Murphy but on Talksport they have whats called a 3-2-1 of the players of the week. Murphy chose Foden as number 1 over Fernandes and Abraham and could not stop raving about him, and how seeing him live he realised, even more, what a special player he is. It was pretty gushing to be fair.

Rightly or wrongly I think the Cheltenham player got it because of the nature of the match. No issues with that for me.
I know what you mean but I always thought the man of the match award should go to the best player on the pitch, not the best player from the weaker or the losing side due to some kind of sympathy vote.

Micah is doing a good job, he is a blue and sticks up for us, not like a lot off them on TV, he is always happy which i like, to many miserable people knocking about. Watched his documentary tonight and enjoyed it, we should and take something from it, and as supporters of Man City show support.

Good point, in the context of the game I could understand it and the lad will remember it for the rest of his life, but it just seemed that all through the game Danny boy seemed to have it in for us.

Either that or I was pissed playing the drinking game, after every mention of 'magic of the cup', 'no VAR' and 'Oasis' :)
