Micah..

Richards had an excellent game last night. One or two small lapses of concentration but overall a powerfull and impressive display. Crucial part in the second goal (i'd say he scored it), great overlapping play with Johnson, some very timely tackles....not perfect but much better than at Spurs. Lets back the lad, I think there is a different attitude about him this season.
 
I'm really starting to warm to Micah after watching some of his interviews, looks like he's matured a lot and comes across as quite a funny guy

Technically with the ball at his feet he's a Championship player. But his heart and desire is there to see and he actually defended well last night, and leaped like a samoln for the second goal! I'm fully behind him becuase of his tenacity, even if he doesn't possess the skill and ability. Even after being in and out of the team and spending a lot of time on the bench, he still cares whether we win or lose, unlike that bald tosser!

I've been saing for 2 years he will get back to his best. Now it looks to be happening. Well done to the lad and a big fuck you to all the doubters.
 
Have to hold my hands up on Micah. I have said he should go, but last night I thought he really played well. Some good strong tackles and when up against Torres I think he won that battle.
Well done Micah infact well done City.
 
Magnificent, brilliant, excellent?? Lets not get carried away here, the dippers were woeful. I agree he had an improved game last night but he was hardly tested as they had noone on the left to speak of. He is always good going forward, but his limitations come when he is up against a good left sided attacker - as his positional play is his weakness.
 
Never said he should be sold, but I've been highly critical of him for the past two seasons.

He was quality last night and even seemed to have his leap back.

I'd love nothing more than him to ram my criticism down my throat.

By the way, what about Kolo Toure and Kompany as well?? Absolute class.
