Exactly this. He's a youngster who had the world at his feet, it was cruelly snatched from him and he allegedly went off the rails. The drink driving is the only thing I can't properly come to terms with but he does deserve some sympathy. At the end of the day no one knows what he has faced not just in his professional life but also in his personal one as well. We know that the club has him still under contract but do we know if they have offered any support other than physio/specialists? He had an undiagnosed injury for a long time. It looks like he needs counselling help as well. But the lad definitely needs help not slagging off on an internet forum. IMHO

Jack Wilshere had a serious injury that kept him out for 18 months, did he at any stage even put on an ounce of weight during his rehabilitation process? No because he dedicated his life to getting back onto that pitch and respected the club and the fans who pays his wages.

Using Jack Wilshere as a shining example of how to behave when injured is laughable. He's as well known in certain parts of London for being a pisshead (at the very least) as Johnson is in Manchester. And an obnoxious, violent and cowardly excuse for a pisshead at that.

What I wanna know is how he's still getting paid 25k a week or what ever it is he gets. When he clearly doesn't excersise. Now way can I feel sorry for him when he's being paid that much :( what a talent just gone dont think we'll ever see him play football again :(
