Jack Wilshere had a serious injury that kept him out for 18 months, did he at any stage even put on an ounce of weight during his rehabilitation process? No because he dedicated his life to getting back onto that pitch and respected the club and the fans who pays his wages.
Using Jack Wilshere as a shining example of how to behave when injured is laughable. He's as well known in certain parts of London for being a pisshead (at the very least) as Johnson is in Manchester. And an obnoxious, violent and cowardly excuse for a pisshead at that.

Laughable? hahahahaha, Jack Wilshere is that much of a pisshead and is so unprofessional that after 18 months of being out with a serious injury, not only is he back playing but he has been Arsenal's best player this season and will walk into the England squad. Correct me if i am wrong but i never saw pictures of Jack Wilshere putting on 2-3 stone of weight because he was out injured?

I also don't believe during his rehabilitation he was out most nights till the early hours drinking, gambling and ending the night with a donner kebab before not getting out of bed for work in the morning.

So yes, Jack Wilshere is a shining example of how a young player with the world at his feet
should behave and apply himself in his work when he is out of action for a very long time regarldess of whether he is a nasty so or so when out and about.

There are injuries you can recover from fully and injuries you cannot, if they had exactly the same injury then you can make comparisons.

I read somewhere that MJ was on steriods to aide his recovery which piled the pounds on him.

Wouldn't steroids be under the FA drug ban list?

Don't feel sorry for him at all, I'm afraid.

Compare his situation to that of Paul Lake's.

Why we've paid him I'll never know. Surely there is a clause in that contract that you HAVE to train, maintain a reasonable level of fitness, report to the club, not be a fucking piss head.

If it turns out he's got depression (something many people are seemingly jumping to) then that's a different situation and the club have to look at themselves. I believe City have been patient. Too patient for me. 3 years and what's he done?

Irelands demise was the sale of Robinho, them too was on the same wave length and complimented each other brilliantly, was never the same player after Robinho left[/quote]

I've read some delusion in my time on blue moon but that's a frank Carson double whopper with cheese!!!

Give over, next you'll be telling me Michael carrick makes van rapist tick- the 'sAid' strikers movement makes it easy for the pass, to even suggest he was on the same wavelength is shortsighted!!!

I wouldn't say it is that laughable.

In the scheme of things, Robinho is nowhere near the sort of sublime talent that he is sometimes painted as. In fact, given what he has actually achieved in his career (and I don't mean names on a CV or transfer fees) it is not unlikely that an average player like Ireland would be on the same wavelength. Robinho has generally been shit, a disappointment and a bench warmer at every European club he's played at.

Not all steriods, they are prescribed for many ailments

Just so we're being clear, Stephen Ireland is of the same casting as robinho? Is that correct?

The reason he is a benchwarmer is because of desire, not lack of talent or ability, he simply had to much to soon, Ireland on the other hand never was and never will be that calibre of player, even on his best day!!!

I am not gutted by the news he's been released early but am saddened by the fact that he didn't help his cause. It cannot be easy to fall so high from the perch that he was put upon by Svens waxing lyrical to him,and the fact that he took it as read that he is a great player no matter what lifestyle he chooses.
Long term injuries are rough for anybody not just "proffesional footballers" but his antics whilst injured have been ridiculous.
I really do hope he pulls his act together and starts playing football again soon, because its a real waste of natural talent and ability for one of the best players to come through our academy.

Good luck Johnno your gonna need it lad.
