micheal johnson

from what i saw of the interview with m.j one wonders what the club have been doing surely he as to be at carrington every week and they can see his condition
 
Just a culmination of events really.

Johnson bright, young talent with the world at his his feet.

Awarded with a reported 50,000k a week contract at such a young age, he had so much surplus cash he probably didn't know what to do.

An unfortunate niggly injury occurs. He's still a young lad, he has loads of free time as he can't train, he's loaded, he's young, he has young friends...hardly anything better than to go for a piss up with your mates at that age.

However these piss ups occur more and more regularly, puts on abit of weight but the piss ups don't stop.

A portion of the blame lies with the player, but alot of the blame must be put down at the feet of the club for not helping him.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure where those figures have come from. We don't know for sure, obviously, but i'd suggest he's on nowhere near that amount.

Reading this, and I'll probably cop loads of shit for saying so, it wouldn't have happened at the swamp.

Young players need support and guidance from their club. In my opinion, City have let Micheal Johnson down.
 
think he needed to help himself a bit more mammulty... we cant stop a player drinking (what are gonna do drag him out) he has dickhead mates who are doing him as much bad as himself. he needs to really get training pre-season or he could really spiral
