This is years of being condionted by mainstream media. We never heard of Israeli aggression for decades on any news channel. People think of Palestinians as non-human with the way they talk.

It almost becomes engrained in the mind, kind of like how them Slavic countries disliked Kosovans and ethnic Albanians. Europeans dislike of gypsies, instead of mentioning their culture, years of media and stories telling us they're thieves and wrong'uns made people hate them.

Before, if you donated to Palestine you could be questioned by police. Even on this forum ten years ago you could be threatened with being banned questioning what's going on, no joke.

With social media, video footage, countless websites people can see two sides to the coin

Cutting off their electricity and water supply and telling 1.1m people to scarper in a day, that's the same population as Birmingham or two lots of Manchester's population. That for me is insane

On TV now - the debate. Leaders and MP's on both sides pearl clutching and mealy mouthed speeches but no-one is actually offering suggestions or solutions. When Sunak stood up Shapps and Dowden were having right joke and laugh - its all fun for them isn't it? Basards.

If they refuse to condemn the Saudis for what they've done in Yemen, they're not going to condemn Israel any time soon. Basically if you're our allies, do what you want, if you're are enemies, don't even fart in a lift or we'll accuse you of illegal chemical warfare. One does get the sneaking suspicion that Sunak and Co are using this as a weapon in their culture war, it appeals to the right-wing knuckle draggers, they don't give a shit for the lives of Israelis or Arabs it's just an opportunity to score political points, the danger for him is that as always israel will go too far and the tide of public opinion will shift and there is evidence that it is starting to shift around the world as the horror becomes worse, he will be left as the person that gave his full support to it including offering military support, previous PM's have always been a little cautious

Uganda upholds a death sentence as a state.
None of the major Chistian sect leaders in Uganda do (Catholic, Anglican or Penticostal) where Chdisianity is professed go be followed by 59.5% of the population. Don't know about the 4.4% that are Muslim - or indeed the rest.
