Middle East Conflict

Anyway the UN are now stating this is a grave situation in Gaza and are deeply worried. Some of the UN Human rights rapporteurs are saying War Crimes are now being commited with them withholding Food, Water etc for the civilians.
The starvation of citizens as a tactic of war is absolutely a war crime under the Geneva Convention. So it would depend on exactly what they do.

Biden and Sunak have still said they are behind whatever Israel want to do. Totally 100%. So no one is going to challenge the War Crimes.

Absolutely. But you absolutely can disagree with the tactics when they start coming out with shit like cutting off food, medicine and water to 2 million people. Even the Russians haven't publicly come out with a policy like that.
Putin has stopped Ukraine exporting thousands of ton's worth of Wheat, Grain, etc. As for Water and Medicine he would if he could.

Israel needs all the support it can get from the International community and for those who have cynically taken this crass opportunity to bang on about "Free Palestine" are no better than those extremists who support ISIS.

You're part of the PR wing of a terrorist state whether you like it or not.

I'm absolutely sick to the pit of my fucking stomach.

A terrorist state? It's their home and that's a ridiculous accusation to make.

Apologies if someone has already posted this.

On Twitter (or X if you prefer), I keep tabs on Shiraz Maher’s feed. Maher is the author of the definitive book on Salafi-jihadism and a very measured and balanced commentator on terrorism.

His latest tweet was urging people to read this article.

He was right to do so. Whatever your position happens to be when it comes to this unfolding conflict, it’s a pretty extraordinary first-hand account of what it is like to know that Hamas are right outside your door.

That brings back so many memories

Not to sure I'd want to be feeding somebody trying to kill me or my family if I'm being truthful, blockading enemies has been employed as a tactic as long as people have been trying to kill each other.
