Middle East Conflict

Kill 40-60,000 people, seriously?

If they launch a ground invasion to get their people back it’s hard to imagine they’ll get away with less than 1% civilian casualties given how densely populated Gaza is, the fact there’s nowhere for them to flee and Israel has shown it’s got no qualms about using inaccurate area weapons.

Then there’s all the civilians who’ll die from to a lack of power, medicine and food.

How many more times does this need to repeated. Hamas do not sit in buildings in an area where there aren't other buildings with a big sign up saying Hamas is here. They will store weapons in mosques, hospitals, schools, civilian homes etc - this is a fact and cannot be disputed despite what people on here think. They base themselves deliberately in civilian areas. Today Israel has warned civilians in the North of Gaza to evacuate, what have Hamas said. Told them it's all fake propaganda and to remain where they are. When Hamas tell you to stay where you are, that's what a lot of people do as they are scared for their own lives.
Hammas have less care for the poor innocent lives that will be lost than the Isrealis do . I'd have thought those who quite rightly are appalled at the actions Isreal will take , give Hammas a free ride just because it doesnt suit their agenda

No they shouldnt be using it.
- I'm just asking why the big who-ha about Isreal using some and the complete silence from the human rights brigade about Russia using truck loads of the stuff mostly every day for a huge proportion of the 597 days of the war so far?
Because we all constantly being told that the Russians are acting like cunts (which they are) whereas we have a lot of talking heads trying to tell us that the Israeli response is completely justified, regardless of how they conduct themselves. Melting people with white phosphorous is never justified. It's a chemical weapon and a war crime.

Sunak and Starmer were helped a bit into power (indirectly) by Jewish lobbyists and the Labour Party central office throwing an election. This includes Corbin’s failure to act on allegations of antisemitism. Rishi owes Israel so this limited show of force, alongside Joe’s more meaningful effort, is aimed at reassuring Israel and deterring anti Israel states.
Do you want to expand upon your argument that ‘Rishi owes Israel’?

And in fact how Corbyn’s failure to act on Anti-semitism contributed to the decision for the UK to make a token offer of logistical assistance to Israel?

Or detail the Jewish lobbyists you mention, and what they have to do with Israel?
