Sod's law we get a scoring opportunity in the 4th minute......... Can we organise Yaya, Ferny, Nasri and Ko. to ping the ball around a bit in midfield so Mickey Doyle get his tribute heard good and proper.

My old man wouldn't of been that bothered that City did nothing when he died as he had lived the dream and played for the club he loved.
He would however be very grateful and proud to you the supporters for what you are trying to do on Sunday.
When we won the League Cup in 76 the first thing my Dad did was go and salute the City supporters ( sure he even jumped in the crowd )
The supporters are Man City.
Thanks again and enjoy Sunday………..You deserve it.

PMSL!!!!!
There is more chance of aliens landing in the centre circle than that happening.
Why's that?

Being of a certain age, I was fortunate to see Mike Doyle play through a large part of his City career. Colin Bell was king of Maine Road, and Mike Doyle? Well he was the beating heart of the club, the fans representative on the pitch. We all knew that he, more than any other player, would give body and soul for the team and for the supporters, and we loved him for it. Just to make it even better, he hated United as much, if not more, than we did. Yes he was hard as nails, uncompromising we would call it, but he could play as well forming great partnerships with both George Heslop and a Tommy Booth. Without doubt his talent deserved higher recognition internationally than it got.
It will be an honour to join in his tribute on Sunday at Wembley, let's hope the team can honour his memory with a win.
