Daniel Timperley, what a top guy…….Many thanks mate for this great idea to you and all the City fans.
My old man wouldn't of been that bothered that City did nothing when he died as he had lived the dream and played for the club he loved.
He would however be very grateful and proud to you the supporters for what you are trying to do on Sunday.
When we won the League Cup in 76 the first thing my Dad did was go and salute the City supporters ( sure he even jumped in the crowd )
The supporters are Man City.
Thanks again and enjoy Sunday………..You deserve it.

Your dad is one of my all time City legends he was.a blue through and through..it`s the least we can do

Well done to everyone who has taken part in this.

On 8 December 1968 we beat Burnley 7 - 0 at Maine Road. It was my first game and Mike scored one of them.

He is one of those that define the word hero.

The main chant that I remember for Mike/Mick was:-

MI
MIC
MICK
MICK DOYLE

is this what we are doing on Sunday?

Big Mike definitely deserves it a true City Legend who can ever forget amongst the thousands of pitch invading rags him looking up with that knowing smile to the stretford end in 74 as much as to say "MY WORK HERE IS DONE YOU RED BASTARDS !" absolutely priceless the only player who hated Man Ure more than us ha ha ha lol. Top man !
And this haha

For the sake of clarity, is this definitely taking place in the 4th minute, when the scoreboard reads 03.00?
I was going to ask the same thing. I bet a lot of people think the 4th minute is when the scoreboard reads 4:00, even though that'd be the 5th minute.
