I'd want to keep Cancelo at every cost. Our best results this season have come from a three back line and Cancelo is much better going forward than Walker. Younger as well. I'd go with Otamendi +50m instead.

Then he'll have to accept being last in the pecking order. But if this transfer comes of it will 100% be in the summer. I think Otamendi would be positive to it, he's chances of playing at inter are much higher. And the italian league will probably suit him better

Mate he will leave in the summer 100%. Inter is not a bad club, would suit him. He got the same aggression as Skriniar

To me that's more to the fact of injuries to our back line and inability to stop counter attacks at the moment. A back 3 is more of a defensive approach and if we had a fit back line with Laporte and maybe this guy I doubt Pep would play 3 at the back much. He likes his dual 8's because they are playmakers that can create more chances. A back 3 relies on your wingbacks more going forward, but in the midfield you'll only have 1 play maker.

I definitely prefer the 3ATB over the 433 this season. I've felt that we can become a bit too stale and predictable when we've played 433 for a while now. We really lack directness in that formation, and seem to play too safe. But for example Bernardo has really shined when played in central midfield in a 3421.

In a 433 KDB and David occupy the 8 positions which means that Bernardo plays RW. Bernardo's workrate and vision is a bit wasted at RW. He has shown both last season and this season that he excels central in the field with his ball retention and creativity. We also have Mahrez in great form and he should be nailed at RW now.

I really like us in a 4231 though, with KDB high up the pitch and Bernardo deep in midfield with his energy. Our lineup against Leicester in the 3-0 victory is probably my favourite. Now replace Otamendi with Laporte and Jesus with Aguero and it would be perfect.
