I would be genuinely shocked if we got him. Inter are in a great position and they're not exactly short of a bob or two so theres no reason to sell him. Likewise I wouldn't see him agitate for a move with their league position and they are highly likely to complete Eriksson today which will be a big bonus.

The only reason would be if they think a back three of Bastoni-De Vrij-Godin is good enough for now, which means they can cash in around 80m for Skriniar. However if they sell Skriniar they'd have to get a backup. Maybe we could use Otamendi in the transfer to save some money.Why would Inter sell him when he has a contract running to 2023

I'd want to keep Cancelo at every cost. Our best results this season have come from a three back line and Cancelo is much better going forward than Walker. Younger as well. I'd go with Otamendi +50m instead.Otamendi+ Cancelo + 15m?
