Would gladly see Milner and Rodwell own the central midfield against Stoke. They are two very energetic and strong players who will run and run until the final whistle.
Start Yaya on the bench, let him realize has no god given right to assume he's a given starter. (but Maybe he has a contractual right?)
He can come in for Silva or any of the two CM's if necessary.

Give Negredo a chance from the start and Jovetic should be ready to give it a go by then.

The great thing about James Milner is that he combines ' English ' virtues-determination and work rate- with a sharp football brain. He could certainly infuse midfield with dynamism and might, as an alternative, be worth trying as a wing-back.He has a can-do mentality like VK, Zaba and Negredo. We may learn a lot about Manuel Pellegrini from how he deploys Milner.

Couldn’t agree more……. English guts and hardwork is what is needed, we have too much namby pamby tippy tap football, or players not chasing the opposition down like their lives depended upon it, playing for the club!!!!

It’s the first requirement anyone signing any foriegn player for city should check for… Will they play like Tevez

Spot on.

Which game was that? His best game imo, was the 1-6 game.

Spurs at home 2-1 (Lescott and Nasri goals)
Sunderland at home 3-0 win
...MOTM in both games.

As of last report, he will not -- not to mention DeMich is right-footed and will likely be spelling VK, not playing with him. Should be be MD and Nastasic for Stoke I'd think. Unless 100% fit, no sense in risking VK with Plzen and the derby around the corner.

Not suited to playing in central midfield in our system, cannot pass the ball consistently and quickly enough

Him and Rodwell seem to get better in the eyes of some fans the less they play.

Milner is 3rd choice and Rodwell probably 5th behind Garcia.

They will get game time but no more than 20 games each.

always thought was a better CM than winger,and has been great for us when played there.Wish he would get the chance in that role for England too,shut some of the haters up.Great squad player is jimmy.

always thought that was his position, in the centre.

mancini used to fuck me right off when he insisted him playing out wide.

although his best game was the 6-1 but saying that, he did have richards who was playing his second best game ever for us (his first was the 1-0 under sven at home vs the rags).
