Why would he go to city? Villa have had a better season than them.

Money cant buy everything and James Milner will be one of those things! Man City want to buy the title because they havent produced their own players. Like Chelsea, clubs like this ruin football, its a sad situation when money rules sport! Gareth Barry went there and it did him no good at all!

Milner wont leave Villa for a manchester club, being a leeds lad.

Lets take Richards, Ireland, Onuoha, and £10million for Milner.

If we sell Milner, for me we should be getting Ireland & SWP at least in return

Comparing James Milner to Gerrard is laughable. He's good, but he's not that good!

Would you say half as good? because if you are look again at the figures and you'll see exactly what i'm getting at........

Does anyone else find it funny that everytime a club is linked with a player, fans of the potentially selling club always list about 2 or 3 players that they should get as part of the deal? Everyone says it, us included! Yet if you actualy look at deals that are completed, less than 1% of them are swap deals. Swap deals just don't happen, they are far too complicated to negotiate. They are very rare. Yet all fans seem to think it's a likely outcome. Bizzare.

If this came off I'd be delighted, the price is something we have to live with until we have another carrot to dangle infront of targets, plus the fee would no doubt be un-disclosed only for the media to gestimate the fee whilst adding at least a couple of million on whilst there at it. But on Milner I'd put money on it that he'll be a firm fans favourite within a few months, he's that kind of player, always gives 110% with plenty of quality on top.
