Milner wants out?

12 months left on his contract looks like he has been tapped up I reckon Liverpool are desperate for him

Thankfully no chance we will sell I reckon because of the FFP restrictions, so we will hold him for a year and I think next year he will get even more playing time and hopefully we can give him enough to keep him, I think Pellegrini, understandably because of his underrated nature, realised his value towards the latter part of the season when he played a key role

All the press rolling with the story at the same time, suggests Milner's side have leaked it.

Not how it works mate, they feed of each other

They do a lot more than just feed off each other. They most definitely feed off leaks from parties who want info out there. In this case I would say Milner's side would not be unhappy to flag to interested parties that their guy is open to 'a new challenge' or conversely given City have just potentially encountered a 'home grown' problem that if you want to keep Milner at City now is the time to really pony up.

Something for everyone to chew over.

I cant believe he wants to go but if he does we have little choice but to sell him cant afford for him to walk on a free! I rate him and think he is an important part of the squad!

Re: James Milner

i think the biggest factor in thesis that he wants to play in the middle his natural position. gutted to see him potentially leave. we really do have a problem with english players and its gonna make it harder to sign them- why would they come here knowing we dont have any

According to Tony Gale on SSN, Jimmy will miss out on the World Cup due to a lack of games

I reckon he will be one of the first on Hodgsons list

Lack of games!! Somebody should tell him how many he has played this season

Yeah that is daft, better to play 40 games than 65.

Like GDM has said, I'd rather keep him another year than let him leave for £10M.
Why do clubs think they can get our players cheap ? He's an England international wanted by two of the top 4 and a couple of clubs aspiring to reach the top 4. He's at his peak with at least another 6 years left in him. We would be utter mugs to let him go for anything under £20M

Straight swap for Baines?
Clichy and Milner for Baines and Barkley might clinch it.

Why would Barkley leave Everton? All they would do is point to Rodwell and then point out he would be better off developing right where he is under a manager who clearly rates him and will play him. You think we would play Barkley on a regular basis?
You think I was deadly serious ¿
