Mirror article about Kompany and Pellegrini

Really? It's the Mirror and we are playing United next.
Than it's about Yaya being captain and unable to change the armband unless he is going off himself. Thing I find strange is Yaya nor Kompany seem to realize this. Happy we got a manager that does within all the emotion after KDB scored the winner from a counterpeace that was born out of a tacticle switch made by this very same manager.

They forgot to mention that the manager tried to tie Kompanys boot laces together just as he was running on :) the tabloid press written by cunts and read by the gullible .

What appeared to happen Ric was:

Vinnie was warming up right in front of the CBL (swoon, I could almost have touched him!!) and Kevin De Bruyne scored and, as we were all celebrating, Kiddo & Mr Pellegrini gestured for Vinnie to come over for a substitution. Yaya either thought he was going to be the one substituted or felt it respectful to give the armband to Vinnie. Cousillas panicked and was running up and down like a demented wasp shouting at Mr P who was then telling YaYa to put the arm band back on until he realised that YaYa was just giving it to Vinnie out of respect (I assume that is why he was doing it). So nothing to see there, go home Daily Mirror.

I noticed it all because of my admiration for our Captain, nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that I am (allegedly) obsessed with Mr Kompany!!!

Edit: I have not read the Daily Mirror article as yet and will now do so to see what they are making a fuss about.

Off topic slightly but I hope Pellegrini plays him against United. I can't help but think he's handled this brilliantly. Not only has he put down a marker to the players to think twice about putting club before country but Kompany will be up for this game even more now as he will feel he needs to prove himself!

Can I just throw into the mix the fact that Vinnie was doing more Captaining (if that is a word) from the sidelines in the 10/15 minutes he was warming up than YaYa did in the entire match and also the match on Saturday combined!! I am sorry but if Vinnie is not available then either Zaba or Joe should take the armband. IMHO (& I have said this in the matchday thread as well)

Ah, that would make sense. Thanks Sheila!

Joe has turned into a man in the last couple of years , he should and deserves to be vice captain
