Why is this particular missing person case getting so much publicity as sad as it is. I may have dreamt it but I am sure I drove past a poster this week on the Mancunian way that said 170,000 people a year go missing?

I can think of 11 people who went missing last Sunday.

I don't mind Peter Faulding doing interviews, after all he is being inundated with interview requests given hes the expert in the field, he does come across as a little fame hungry though.

What I will say is that he seems adamant she is not in that river, he's risking a hell of a lot of professional capital and a lot of future business on these strong statements. He will look like a right idiot if she is washed up hence why I am so inclined to believe she's not in the river.

He knows this and perhaps thats why hes coming across as a little fame hungry and doing the media rounds because he's frustrated with the investigation.

The sonar kit he is using provides a very detailed 3d image of the river bed. It would easily identify a body. I have used similar.

Because Bluemoon mirrors society. A society that is obsessed with social media. An individual now needs to feel important and to achieve that they turn to posting on social media.

What I have found unusual about this case: some specialist diver in the papers - can't remember his name. A few days ago he was saying "if she is there I will find her", now he is saying she isn't there.... I thought the Police had their own divers and they would never normally make comment on their work.

No I get that, I was saying I have never known with anything like this before that a private (non-Police) diver being involved and speaking up. The Police have divers so why was he even involved?
