Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

Could have been planned, squirrelled money away over a longer time where it wouldn't have been noticed or fraudulently obtained bank cards in a different name.
No. Its practically impossible unless she works in a bank or is an elite level fraudster. Even then still a good chance it would get uncovered.

Fraudsters obtain passports all the time. Once you have a fake passport it's easy to obtain a bank account by applying online. Elite or knowledgeable and patient?

If the account wasn't making transactions it is less likely that it would be uncovered.

I don't mean to sound callous or insensitive (I'm not, though it may come across that way). I'm just wondering why this tragic case in particular, is getting the publicity that it is getting. I'm sure there's plenty of missing women cases every year, and they don't seem to get the media coverage this lady is getting. I could understand it if she'd been murdered, which she hasn't (as of yet, though it doesn't look good at this stage).

Again, apologies if I seem crass/uncaring/insensitive. Trust me, it's not intentional.

I too don't want this to sound out of order, but one factor in this story that will have given it extra 'newsworthyness' is the fact after she went missing her dog was found (dry) without its lead and running around in distress. What would that dog say if it could communicate?
