MONEY CAN'T BUY THE HEART

Personally I think we have tried to move to quickly and a number of the players we want are not comfortable to make such a decision until they see at least some of our plan implemented.

very interesting post overall. well done, thanks. regarding this part, what is interesting is how much traction we got with top players from these bids in spite of our abysmal league position. the future looks very very bright, if a bit distant.

The press?

They do not give a shit about what the press says, and we should follow their view - stop listening to the idiots and stop reading their crap.

hopefully i can be forgiven for having a go at their hypocrisy now and then (or not, the moderators usually delete me, but are strangely willing to leave threats of physical violence intact).

Bottled it !! Fact AC Milan wanted to sell, Fact KAKA was never made an offer, Fact Administratiion, good luck we move on but it seems you can't.

Ajay, thanks for your reply. I think the media are actually now in danger of looking ridiculous in their hysterical hatred of our club. It's getting to the point where even neutrals can see it's absurd.

In terms of the owners your comments are very reasurring and back up the statement issued by SH Mansour upon the takeover (on the OS). In terms of the players sought after, and purchased I agree again with your comments. Possibly we are looking a little to far up the food chain at this point, whilst there in nothing wrong with reaching for the stars players like Bridge, Bellend, De Jong are major aquitions for us in the sense that they are proven Premiership (in the case of Bridge and Bellend), and all seasoned Internationals. The squad has benefited hugely with the additions at this point and we should remember that as a club we have spent in this transfer window close to £50m if the reports are to be believed.

Ah, but you didnt quite win the Thomas Cook Trophy this season did u mate! Bojinov screamer put pay to that! ur aging team of misfits just couldn't outdo our class act of Vassell, Bojinov and Elano. Think that was the last good game Vass had for us! And WAS the last game Boj had for us!
