My view on this deal is going to depend on the price...
If the 70M number is correct, I think it's a solid piece of business.
But at 100, no thanks.
They are asking for Nunes or McAtee in a separate deal ;)

Send Nunes, sell McAtee elsewhere, Buy the 2 Brazilian RBs (would say Livra but zero chance)They are asking for Nunes or McAtee in a separate deal ;)
Straight swap for the two :)They are asking for Nunes or McAtee in a separate deal ;)

Now you’ve done itRooting for you Gibsy :)
Livramento;-)Do you personally need that extra £30m for something else? ;)
Probably something to do with posting expressing their opinions as fact, when indeed it cannot beWhy do some of our fans go down the "you don't understand football", "you don't know ball", "your football knowledge isn't great" route when people have an opposing view to them. It's very weird
Nunes should stay. Will be good in front of a decent right backSend Nunes, sell McAtee elsewhere, Buy the 2 Brazilian RBs (would say Livra but zero chance)
Because some people don’t understand what they’re looking at, therefore their opinions are wank. Why do some of our fans go down the "you don't understand football", "you don't know ball", "your football knowledge isn't great" route when people have an opposing view to them. It's very weird
If i have taker to replace him with a starter though, id take it. he wont get many offers.Nunes should stay. Will be good in front of a decent right back

And what out of 10 would he get from you if we got him for £30m?70 million for MGW. Called a solid piece of business.
He'll need to be putting in 10/10 performances from minute one to justify that outlay.
Usually because they are unable to formulate a counter argument and their little sensitive hearts cant take any opposing views to theirs - especially if its along the lines that the club, manager, board, player could be making a mistake or not good enough (and just for clarification I think the manager and board are fucking fantastic and I wouldnt swap them for anyone else - ever - but that does not mean that they are not beyond reproach!)Why do some of our fans go down the "you don't understand football", "you don't know ball", "your football knowledge isn't great" route when people have an opposing view to them. Yeah. Or not spend 100m on a very mediocre player who should cost half this at best. Or better yet spend it on a wirtz type talent. So yeah the 30m should be put to better use.As a matter of fact, I would put the £30M down and bring in Cherki as well
Especially when that's the whole point of a forum - people giving opinionsIt's always been like that though hasn't it, it's more constant now with the rise of football forums/twitter/podcasts and bloggers etc.
It is odd when you stop and actually think about it.
