Most overrated City player ever?

Kompany overrated. Dear me. Colossus. Could step in fresh from injury lay off and like he had been playing all season. Walking red card? He was fierce, committed. Like football should be and isn’t anymore (see pawson today letting nothing go. Basketball)
 
The crowds expectations of Kolarovs left foot at set pieces or long shots were way over rated, can think of less than 5 occasions he didnt just smash it into the stand taking power over accuracy , not great at defending either, yet everyone was on their feet as he wound up for a shot expecting the net to bulge.
 
Top players score big goals , Yaya , Aguero ( big balls ) and Kompany , what a spine of a team that is .

VK was a great player. However he was also a red card waiting to happen as his style of tackling gave refs an easy option. He wasn't dirty, he wasn't dangerous, he wasn't out of control, but the current interpretation of the law left him at risk with over-zealous officials.

You know bugger all lad. His calf injuries were 90% down to over-reaching in tackles due to his misjudgement. Similar to Jack Wilshere and (to a lesser extent), Aymeric Laporte.

Vinny was a reactive player. Great players read the game better and act proactively.

Vinny is a great leader, an inspirational figure. That's his strength.
 
looking at the headlines today its Haaland , i am going to enjoy watching this lad ram the taunts down everyones throats this season , the reaction to his performance will only make him even more determined , they've poked the tiger and this is going to get messy for oppostion defences this season.

Are you a qualified doctor or physio? Do you have access to the reports the medical team had?

Great players of course are proactive but they’re also inevitably reactive and have to be. How else can you play the game?

Give up lad. You're a biased fan who won't hear anything bad about their heroes. All players are overrated by fans and few are anywhere near as 'great' as giddy fans like to think they are/were.

Iconic players weren't necessarily great players.
