Mourinho or Mancini

In eight seasons of club management, including an eight month sabbatical in 2007–08, Mourinho has led his club to win its domestic league seven times, the UEFA Champions League twice and the UEFA Cup once. Since 2002, Mourinho has not gone a full calendar year without winning at least one trophy.

Porto (2002–2004)
Primeira Liga (2): 2002–03, 2003–04
Taça de Portugal (1): 2002–03
Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (1): 2003
UEFA Champions League (1): 2003–04
UEFA Cup (1): 2002–03
Chelsea (2004–2007)
Premier League (2): 2004–05, 2005–06
FA Cup (1): 2006–07
Football League Cup (2): 2004–05, 2006–07
FA Community Shield (1): 2005
Internazionale (2008–2010)
Serie A (2): 2008–09, 2009–10
Coppa Italia (1): 2009–10
Supercoppa Italiana (1): 2008
UEFA Champions League (1): 2009–10
Real Madrid (2010–present)
La Liga (1): 2011–12
Copa del Rey (1): 2010–11
Supercopa de España (1): 2012
Eight seasons? Are you an idiot?

Still managed to outwit him tactically twice this year...

This is the most salient point which is, surprise surprise, lost amongst the gloating about Mourinho's apparent demise. Madrid were in our CL group. We're no longer in the competition. Madrid are. Says it all.

It hardly 'says it all'.

Surely there is more to this debate than the outcome of two games of football.

Mancini may not be the greatest manager ever, but he has got his players playing until the 94th minute and that is no mean feat.

They obviously respect him even if they don´t necessarily love him. Mourinho´s big brother style emotional incontinence with his players often turns sour after a while. And in Madrid he appears to have lost not only the dressing room, but the fans, media and everyone bar the president.

And it would appear that the ego he carries from said success has meant he can no longer keep a dressing room in check.

Oh, is there a debate going on ? I thought this was just the thread the Mourinho's hater bumped so they could post inane jibes because he's lost a football match.
