Mourinho

However, I've never liked him because I don't think he is a 'stayer' and we need that.

I think his next job may be his legacy job, these words are from his own mouth: "My passion is England and my next step will be to go back, if possible go and stay for a long time."

Mourinho was rejected once by our executives when Pep was the alternative, what makes anyone think they won't do it again?

Really? I had no idea. When did this happen?
Are you ITK mate??

When they chose Pep for Barca

Yep, but that was 4 or 5 years ago, different situation. Pep was already there with the B team, Jose hadnt had his stint in Italy - and who knows what the decision making process was and how much impact our 2 execs had, and how much in agreement or not they both were

If we have to part ways with Mancini and it will happen if not end of this season or season after, if we do go for Mourinho looking at him as not your manager he does come across as arrogant twat but if our owners go for him he'll be our twat and if he brings trophies 99% of fans will get behind him because as we all know fans are fickle just look at some of us now!

The story goes that neither Ferrano or Txixi was impressed by Mourinho. The feeling was he was not the team player they wanted.

Why do we need a stayer??
I don't see why that has to be the case, within reason. I mean what's wrong with say, 3 years?; employ the best person available - whenever it ends do the same.

Ok mate, well if that's the case and it's still how they feel, then fair enough.
Unless the owners overrule, then it looks like the hopes are on Guardiola

The owners will want Mourinho, they want the star manager to take city to the next level, promote the Abu Dhabi brand. I'm guessing as soon as he's available, city will pounce and sack Mancini. This could happen in the next 6 months. Why was Mancini looking at other clubs recently? Is a 5 year contract worth the paper it's written on? Probably had a clause of compensation in it for Mancini if/when he goes.
