My reply was to another poster who intimated it was scripted acting. I was saying the hard faced cow had approached the widow without anyone's knowledge. She then organised a payment and an NDA again without Bates' knowledgeHave you watched ‘Mr Bates v The Post Office, The Real Story’ ? I watched it and could find nothing that was at odds with the script of the TV drama itself, in fact, they’ve literally used their exact words.
I find it difficult to believe they’d allow something of that nature to pass by without fact checking even with the caveat at the beginning of the programme where it mentions ‘some scenes imagined’ or words to that effect.
And you can bet - sure as shit- that she pays little or no tax on thatAlmost as good as the Bet365 model, whose boss Denise Coates "earned" £221 million last financial year to March 2023. That takes her salary to £1 billion over the last 4 years.
Consignia’s best 11?The Telegraph Article on naming those involved:

12. Gareth Jenkins - Fujitsu UK Cheif Architect for the Horizon Programme from design to delivery.
1. Paula Vennells — Post Office Chief Executive (2012-2019).
2. Angela van den Bogerd —Post Office business improvement director (2010 onwards).
3. Alice Perkins — Post Office chair (2011-2015).
4. Sir Tim Parker — Post Office chair (2015-2022).

8. Adam Crozier — Royal Mail chief executive, (2003-2010).
9. Michael Keegan — Fujitsu UK chief executive (2014-2015).
Do you agree the cow visited the house ? If so do you agree she broke the agreement with Bennett and then sent the boys round with a compensation offer and an NDAReality is more nuanced than tv drama shows.
The one about The Yorkshire Ripper a few weeks ago was eye opening as well. Police ignoring information on a regular basis.More Zeitgeist Dramas clearly needed. Never occurred to me people were unaware of this ongoing debacle.
