'allowed'? It's a contract that people happily signed up to. Like everyone else, suspect they didn't expect inflation to be at 10%.I really don't see the argument for the broadband providers being allowed to increase prices by 3.9% plus inflation. How has inflation affected them? Have they paid all their staff inflation-matching or better pay rises? What exactly is the cost of providing broadband that's gone up so much?
That just increases inflation and provides higher profits to those companies, whereas paying public sector workers more puts money into the economy and increases growth.
Wife bought a packet of Boost bars they should be renamed Boo as they are fucking tiny now, mind you she said she’s used to small things these days, no idea what she meant? Not to mention shrinking pack sizes and weights on the QT, whilst prices continue to go.up.
We're getting bummed by the manufacturers and the retailers.

First time I've been angry food shopping this morning.
Like many others it was a choice of only getting what I need. No treats etc.
Went there with my budget and getting frustrated at all the mental arithmetic and decision making needed just to eat.
I don't begrudge a profit but I can't help but think they supermarkets are milking everyone for every last penny because they can.
