Avoiding dog shit in the alleys when queing for derby and cup tickets

Getting in as early as possible so my Dad could sit me on the wall of the big exit on the Kippax next to the Platt Lane.HSE would have kittens now as loads of kids sat on it right up to the top.

I sat on the other one closer to the North Stand. Great view though.

Ther one near The North Stand.Luxury, bloody luxury lad.

The souvenir shop, middle aged blokes with denim jackets full of sew on badges.
Pissed up fans trying rip the cage off the Colin Bell Bar because the pies were cold which i worked at for a
while. I know they were cold they were from the last home match.
Free entry to reserve matches with a piece of paper as a programme and all playing football in the ambulance
tunnel.
The outdoor bar at the Sherwood van pulls up with crates of red hot Strongbow from Kwik Save and sell them
to you at 200% profit but you were still grateful and the big dog on the roof. Pots flying into the estate behind
every derby day.

Some good ones there mate. The worst souvenir shop in the world and I'd actually forgotten about The Sherwood's outside bar. Probably because I always went there post-match and was barely able to stand by that stage.

Tokens to collect from the programme for applying for away games tickets and big games at home. Seems mental now.

You think that was dangerous? What about that concrete wall at the back of that open terrace at the corner of the Kippax and North Stand. It must have been about 5 or 6 feet high on the side facing the pitch, but it was a lot higher of a drop (yeah, I know; that sounds very Clarkie-ish!) behind it. I never saw anyone actually fall off backwards, but it must have happened.

And the steep dirt banks on the back of the Kippax with the bloody scary steps.

The massive steel, sky blue doors.

Can anyone remember the price that was painted above the turnstyles for their first/last visit?
