Just a question. As my dad doesn't wish to go (don't know why), could I take my season ticket down there and buy a ticket on the day? And would it be a problem that I am 15? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't say much for the arithmetic skills of ticket office employees does it when someone was told 2500 unsold, someone else 4000 and someone else was told we had sold 38000, it's no wonder they get stick whe they can't do their sums.

All just guesses:-
38000 sold
3000 away fans
1500 out of use
1000 fifa & press
1000 corporate
2500 left
47000 total

Might have been 4000 left this morning and 2500 at lunchtime? I don't see much wrong with anybodys maths bar yours?

What maths?

People keep asking them "how many tickets are left?" They quote a number that they vaguely remember hearing.

No maths or sums involved.
