Ffs Bridge and RSC just aren't going to leave are they. Not that I can blame them, it's not like Bridge could go somewhere for 50/60k a year to play football. A player of his ability you're talking 20k a week max. The stench of Hughes lingers on ;)

Sure it's already been mentioned, but 5 Live said earlier they understood a fee of between £22m & £24m has been agreed. If true, I'd be surprised if a contract's not already agreed in principal with his agent, just leaving a medical.

With Arsenal due to play this weekend, they either field loads of questions about him and decide whether to play him or not, or just get rid now and move on. Sounds like they may be about to finally see sense.
 
not long to wait now blues till nasri graces the etihad turf!! city have been trying hard for a number of weeks (i haven t read this in the papers, i have been pm ing a mod on here about it for a while)

city wanted him before the swans game and there were a lot of difficulties I am told. Arsenal and the board had to be seen to bring players in and save face etc! etc!

there should be an announcement soon! Rejoice! haven t heard about a medical as yet in case anyone asks

Arse have opened talks over Jadson from Shakhtar, he and Mata seem like their main choices for replacements, but also Hazard and Valbuena on Whinger's radar.

I am led to believe that this one is not as cut and dried as everyone seems to think - arsenal are looking for us to pay €30M and we are keen to not go over €20M given the length of time left on the player's contract. Neither party is keen to compromise, hence it is dragging and may well do for longer

Nasri is set to move to Manchester City with the clubs close to agreeing a fee between £22m and £24m.

From the BBC. Looks like Fabregas isn't far off leaving too.
